Regional Race Report: Valvoline Instant Oil Change Goblin Gallop 5K

October 28, 2008 from Washington Running Report (DC) At this year's Goblin Gallop, nearly 1200 runners finished the 5K and the fun run included around 500 hundred happy Halloween costumed characters. The T-shirt was a bright orange glow in the dark that shouted out, "This race is a party." In the square, a really good band pumped out energy with power songs before, during, and after the race. Just as they did last year, The Sparkplugs provided some great songs for the huge crowd of runners, walkers, and spectators.
