We promote your race three ways
Why we promote your race in Running Journal, our Racing South newsletter, and Running.Net
Running Journal believes the best running event promotion is a combination of media providing the greatest number of new and repetitive impressions. Your event is promoted:
-- in our monthly print edition of Running Journal,
-- in our monthly Racing South email newsletter
-- plus our Running.Net website.
We believe the best possible results are received by promotion in all three of our venues -- Running Journal's monthly print edition, our Racing South newsletter, and our Running.Net website. We offer a free basic listing of all race events in each of our venues but encourage enhancements to increase the value of your event.
We promote your race in our running calendars in all three venues, plus additional promotion with enhanced advertising you place.
We do not break out individual publication statistics because we believe the best results are received by promoting in all three: print, email, and web -- a powerful combination. When you utilize any one of our venues, we automatically promote your event in all three at no added cost, though we assist you in enhancements that add to the value of your event.
Example: A race director sends information on an upcoming race. We provide a free basic listing in all three venues. We encourage an enhanced calendar listing in bold, larger type with more details at low cost. We also offer other promotional enhancements such as print display advertising, a featured event listing on our website and newsletter, and/or banner ads on our website and newsletter.
In every case, however, every race is promoted in all three of our venues. Greater value is added with enhanced low-cost promotion
We always want to serve running events in the best way possible, whether free or with paid promotion -- or both.
