Top Runners in the World, New England and Maine Gather for Saturday’s TD Banknorth Beach to Beacon 10K
CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine – The top road racers in Maine, New England and around the globe are set to gather again in Cape Elizabeth for the 12th running of the TD Banknorth Beach to Beacon 10K Road Race on Saturday.
Running Journal Grand Prix XXXI Champions
The Running Journal Grand Prix completed its 31st season on Memorial Day at the Cotton Row 10K in Huntsville, AL. The 10-race series began in early September in Anderson, SC, for the Midnight Flight 10K, the only nighttime race of the series. A couple of weeks later, GP runners tackled the hills of Asheville, NC, at a new race on the series, the Citizen-Times Half-marathon.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - (July 26, 2009) Andrew Cook, 28, of Flower Mound, Tex. and Japan¹s Yoko Shibui, 30, scored dominant victories at The San Francisco Marathon(TM) today. Cook topped the men¹s field in a finishing time of 2 hours, 26 minutes, and 32 seconds for his third win in this race. He also won in 2006 and 2007.

Lehmkuhles Win Midnight Madness 10k July 11; Three Team USA Minnesota Runners Post Top Times at USA Men's 10k Championship July
Minneapolis/St. Paul - July 14, 2009 - Team USA Minnesota's Jason Lehmkuhle and Kristen Nicolini Lehmkuhle won their respective divisions at the 38th annual Midnight Madness 10k in Ames, Iowa, on July 11. At the Saturday evening race, Jason's winning time was 29:35 and Kristen crossed the finish line in first place with a time of 34:31.
